Laws related to homeschooling in Guam are among the most liberal of any U.S. state or commonwealth. The Guam Department of Education has no regulatory authority over students who are not registered in public schools. However, this does mean that Guam’s homeschool students cannot receive services the Department normally provides to public school students and that homeschool students are not granted credits towards a high school diploma. Home school parents are not required to report to a school district or government office before moving their child from public school to a home school.
