MS: Algebra 1A (Credit: 0.50)Algebra 1A is the first course in a two-semester series. The
course begins by introducing the basic language of algebra,
including real numbers, variables, exponents, the order of
operations, patterns, and functions. The course then focuses
on rational numbers, properties, square roots, graphs, and
functions. Students will also learn how to solve equations,
proportions, and inequalities. The course ends with units on
linear equations, graphs, and equations of lines.
