Language Arts 400 (Credit: 1.00)

This integrated language arts course incorporates spelling, reading, writing, grammar, and literature in one Bible-based, technology-driven course. Students continue exploring the use of words for written and spoken communication while investigating a variety of literary genres including poetry, essays, fiction and non-fiction. This comprehensive course also includes content geared toward practical Christian living and evaluating the world of language from a Christian worldview.

With lessons that focus on reading fluency and comprehension, the effective use of punctuation, report organization and writing, creative expression through writing, and much more, this course provides a motivating learning environment where students can practice digital literacy skills while improving their use of the language.
