Texas Biology B - Semester 2 (Credit: 0.50)

Texas Biology, Semester 2, is a single-semester course designed to strengthen your understanding of several foundational concepts of biology. In this course, you’ll study the effect of evolutionary mechanisms on the characteristics of different species over time. You will learn to classify organisms based on their characteristics. In addition, you will explore the importance of micro- and macronutrients and processes such as photosynthesis and respiration in living organisms. At the end of the semester, you’ll study factors that affect the biodiversity of an ecosystem and solve a biodiversity problem.
