Algebra II (Credit: 1.00)

Algebra II is a full-year high school course that is intended for the student who has successfully mastered the core concepts covered in the prerequisite course, Algebra I. Within this course, students will broaden their knowledge of quadratic and exponential functions, as well as systems of equations and inequalities. In addition, students will study logarithmic, square root, cubic, cube root, absolute value, rational, and inverse functions and their related equations. Students will connect functions to their inverses and associated equations and solutions in both mathematical and real-world situations. Lastly, students will extend their knowledge of data analysis and numeric and algebraic methods. Students must have taken Algebra I as a prerequisite to this course.
