Mathematics 1 is a full year, high school math course for the student who has successfully mastered the core algebraic concepts covered in the prerequisite course, Mathematics 8. The course includes concepts in Number and Quantity, Algebra, Functions, Modeling, Geometry, and Statistics and Probability. In it, students will gain solid experience with linear, exponential, and quadratic equations and functions, measures of center and dispersion, geometry terms and definitions, and measurement of two- and three-dimensional figures.
