Biology is a science dedicated to studying all forms of life on Earth. You are probably familiar with a number of plants and animals, but do you know what makes them different from each other? This course will show you how scientists categorize various types of life, as well as the structure of plants and animals. You will also learn about how ecosystems support different life forms, and how the systems change to cater to the life forms that live within them. Course Goals: By the end of this course, you will be able to do the following: Explain how life forms are classified by scientists. Differentiate between the various kingdoms. Identify the basic structures of plants. Describe the functions of systems within plants. Identify the basic systems within animals. Describe the functions of systems within animals. Explain how ecosystems interact with and support a variety of species.
