Computer Programming 1 A (Credit: 0.50)This course is intended as a practical, hands-on guide to help you understand the concepts and
techniques associated with computer programming. This course has four Units with 15 lessons and
four Unit Activities. Each lesson contains one or more Lesson Activities.
This course describes the skills and training required for careers in computer programming and the
work ethics required in a computing environment. This course describes number systems, data types,
and functions used in computation. In addition, this course describes types of programming
paradigms and program structures. Finally, this course explains how to create web pages in HTML
and how to do create a JavaScript program.
