Spanish 130
Students in Spanish 130 will be introduced to or reacquainted with skills in order to begin or resume communication in the target language. They will explore the understanding of pronunciation, vocabulary, simple sentence structure and ways to engage in daily conversation. Each unit will focus on a Spanish-speaking country and the student will learn about the history, culture, arts, sports, cuisine and holidays of that country. In addition, they will have the opportunity to view videos from Spanish-speaking countries and replicate cultural objects, in order to gain a greater understanding of the target language. (back)
